Biomutant's character creation system will allow players to manipulate six different essence attributes that will also affect characters physically, and once players have chosen their desired fur colors and tribal affiliation, they will be ready to explore. Players will take control of a rodent-like creature mutated by the pollutants and will spend time fighting a host of unique enemies throughout the game. The world of Biomutant is in the midst of turmoil, with substances like toxic gas and oil contributing to the mutation of the creatures that inhabit it. As a mutated creature in a post-apocalyptic Earth, players will have the chance to explore several different environments including expansive grassy meadows, snowy mountain passes, and dilapidated ruins with remnants of human architecture.
Although some previous trailers have focused on Biomutant's flashy combat or detailed the game's tribal system, today's trailer simply basks in the glow of the seemingly massive open world. Another trailer for action RPG Biomutant has dropped today, and this one is just as gorgeous as those that came before it.
